It's Been Quite a While! (News?)
So I suppose this is news, maybe its not. I'm sure I've said it to all the parties necessary, but who knows. Most of them/you don't know this log even exists (but I forgive you, of course).
The new comp that is in the works is going to be put together a little differently than before. I'm going to be doing a kickstarter, so look forward to that in a couple months. I'll provide a link for sure. Also, I think that the band list has been finalized and that'll be announced after everyone has been talked to about the kickstarter.
And the name is in the works; I like it a lot. However, I'm not totally set on anything until I have a good idea for artwork that'll fit in with it. Once that gets settled on, I'll announce it.
I think that's all for now.
Oh wait! Nope, hold on. I got a Facebook page for de-efodiar, so people could know what's up. The link to it is here.

No Doves Fly Here
To my great surprise, The Mob is coming from the UK to play in Boston on May 28th. They have been broken up since 1983, so the fact that they're coming out here is a great shock to me.
They're playing at Great Scott. I've got my ticket, will you get yours?

Revision
Hey all,
After reading through this blog, we realize there's been a bit of a misconception. We tend to use the term "We" for everything that de.efodiar does. We want de.efodiar to be a blanket of creativity for our little circle of friends, but since projects that are going to be released under the "de.efodiar" name could be vastly varied, it'd be good for you all to know that the de.efodiar compilations are the brainchild of only 1 person, which help from many of his friends. That means that there isn't a lot of collective decision-making on who does and does not go on the compilations. He wants to direct these as his own little art project and help out bands who he enjoys. But there are always people there to help in every aspect of it's creation, from music, art, technology help, hugs and encouragement.
We welcome anyone who's interested in helping, please get in touch. We want more artists, poets and interesting people to work together.
Quite a bit of rambling went on here, this'll be edited down at some point.

New de-efodiar Comp in the Works!
Hey everyone,
There is a new comp in the works. This one will be all new faces, no repeats from "Now Doves Fly Here". Some of the bands will be from Boston, others will be from elsewhere in the United States.

The compilation "Now Doves Fly Here" is now available to be streamed on Bandcamp. It will not be available for download in the foreseeable future, since we'd like all the bands to have a chance to sell their copies of the album on vinyl.
